Ear

This installation explores the relationship between hearing and seeing. The starting point is a question I am interested in: why do we often want to see something when we hear it?

A large ear-shaped object is combined with sound placed inside the ear cavity, inviting the viewer to listen and look. While experiencing the work, this urge to visualise often appears.

When observing how people respond, many immediately start searching for the source of the sound. The work reflects on this reaction without fully explaining it.
